Information
The GH is an atmospheric steam generator that uses heat generated by burning gas in a heat exchanger to make steam. The GH is designed for air humidification via steam distributor, blower pack, or steam manifold (SAM-e). Production of this unit ended near the year 2000 and many of the parts are now obsolete.
Unit Maintenance
Maintenance on this unit consists of draining the water from it, taking the top off, cleaning out all the scale and cleaning the float chamber annually or more often depending upon your water quality. Do not use a metal scraper to loosen the scale.
