Overview
This part number is 25 of part 150-3812 SAM-E Coupling Seals. They are no longer available individually so you must buy them in a kit of 2 OR this kit containing 25. These seals are used at the connection between the header and the steam tubes. After some time the heat from the steam hardens these seals and they begin to leak steam. At that point, they need to be replaced. When 1 goes bad all the others are soon to follow so its a good idea to replace all of them on the header when replacing a single leaking one. Replacement of this seal is normal maintenance.
